Single-User License
Your ECUX account is licensed to one (1) named individual only. Login credentials are personal and non-transferable. Sharing, selling, lending, or distributing account access to any third party is strictly prohibited. One active session is permitted at a time. ECUX reserves the right to enforce this policy through automated session monitoring.
Section 2
Account Enforcement
ECUX actively monitors for concurrent sessions, suspicious access patterns, and credential sharing. Upon detection of a policy violation, ECUX may automatically restrict, suspend, or terminate account access. Manual review may occur at ECUX's discretion. Reinstatement, if any, is granted solely at the discretion of ECUX administration.
Section 3
All Sales Final & No Refund Policy
All purchases — including subscriptions, credit packs, and digital services — are final upon activation or delivery. No refunds are issued for used or unused credits, active or expired subscription periods, or accounts suspended or terminated due to policy violations. ECUX may, but is not obligated to, make exceptions in cases of verified technical error, at its sole discretion.
Section 4
Payment & Access Activation
Access to ECUX is granted only after payment is received and verified. Users must include the required identifying note when submitting payment via Zelle. Incorrect, missing, or incomplete payment information may delay activation. ECUX is not liable for delays caused by user error in the payment submission process. Service is deemed delivered when account credentials are issued or credits are applied.

Platform Disclaimer & Use at Your Own Risk
ECUX is a script generation and management platform only. The user is solely responsible for verifying compatibility, legality, emissions compliance, and safety of any ECU modification. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ECUX shall not be liable for any vehicle damage, ECU failure, engine or hardware damage, data loss, regulatory violations, or consequential damages resulting from use of the platform or any output it produces.
Section 6
Hex Editor — Binary Modification Risk
The Hex Editor is a raw binary editing tool. All modifications are performed entirely at the user's own risk. ECUX shall not be liable for any damage to a vehicle, ECU, engine, or related component resulting from byte-level edits, fills, or modifications made using the Hex Editor. The user is solely responsible for verifying accuracy, compatibility, legality, and safety before applying any modified binary to a vehicle.
Section 7
Run Credit Policy
Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance (Monthly: 10, 6-Month: 15, Annual: 25, Lifetime: 40). One credit is consumed per Apply Patch, Generate Script, personal script download, Hex Editor Fill Range, or Hex Editor Download. Credits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused credits do not roll over. Overage credit packs are non-refundable. ECUX shall not be liable for business losses resulting from credit exhaustion.
Section 8
Definition of “Lifetime” Access
A “Lifetime” subscription grants access for the operational lifetime of the ECUX platform — not the biological lifetime of the purchaser. ECUX reserves the right to discontinue, restructure, or shut down the platform at any time. In such an event, a Lifetime subscription does not entitle the holder to continued access, compensation, or a refund. Purchasing a Lifetime subscription is not a guarantee of perpetual platform operation. The annual maintenance fee remains due regardless of subscription tier.
Section 9
User Output & Portability
Files generated or downloaded through ECUX — including scripts and patched binaries — may be retained and used by the user outside of the platform. ECUX retains all rights to the platform, systems, methods, algorithms, interface, script libraries, and underlying technology. User output portability does not constitute a license to the platform itself.

Third-Party Tools & Trademark Disclaimer
ECUX may generate files compatible with third-party tools including WinOLS. WinOLS is a registered trademark of EVC electronic GmbH. ECUX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by EVC electronic or any other third-party software provider. Compatibility references are for informational purposes only.
Section 11
Service Availability & Force Majeure
ECUX does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. Access may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, hosting issues, network outages, third-party provider disruptions, or events beyond reasonable control. ECUX shall not be liable for losses resulting from planned or unplanned service interruptions.
Section 12
Privacy & Data Use
ECUX collects and stores account, login, usage, payment-reference, and script-related data as necessary for security and platform operation. ECUX does not sell user data to third parties. Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups of critical files. Activity on the platform is monitored for security enforcement purposes.
